Re: WhiteSlipsWithStickers Refresh Build 2013
My second or third or fourth order came in from AFH. Brand new battery cables, fusebox lid, battery bolts and tie down, and some other misc. nuts/bolts, clips, brackets etc.
Mounted the breather using a little piece of aluminum I cut up from my E-Bay intake bracketry and installed all the new OEM parts.
I'm not big on the S2000 master cylinders, so I bought a brand new bracket, reservoir and hose to run the factory stuff. Also, new hood prop grommet and clip.

Figured I'd post a little more of the car since I've never made a build thread for it.... I did the rear disk conversion probably a year ago also.
Before/After
In the process. I don't have that much room in the garage with my wife's TSX in there, so I did one side a at a time.
After it was done. I tightened the bolts down once the car was on the ground, don't worry....

You sir, are a God. Anyone can have a stock-ish car, but man do you pull it off well.
Garage looks good too (I like the red/black paint).

Thanks!
God, not so much, but thanks. I think I'm kind of lucky in a weird way that I didn't have any money to throw at it over the years. It has made me spend every $100 here and there wisely and made the outside stay pretty much stock which I've grown to love. Thanks, that was my first "mod" to the house when we moved in. Couldn't handle the bright white walls.

ive talked to you a few times about how stupid clean this thing is. i think on fb mainly. AFH had posted a pic of your bay with the b20... dumb dick clean.
prime example you dont have to go over board with flashy parts, just clean it up nicely and bam you got a fresh car.
good job.
can i ask one question? what are the specs on your slips... lol seriously though. i picked up some for my eg. i have 4 16x7 +45 and two 16x8 +35

Mine are 16x7 +35 Slipstreams with 205-45 Dunlop Direzza DZ101. The pictures on here it had 205-40 Azenis RT-615s though. I'd rock the 7" +45s with a 205-45 in the back and the two 16x8 +35 with 215-40 up front personally. I'd love to have a pair of x8s for my car someday.

Thanks man, can't wait to see more of yours.
The engine bay is minty, but the rest of the car is a little rough and I'm not too worried about driving it around anymore. When/if I get the outside painted again I'll be a paranoid **** though.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: WhiteSlipsWithStickers Refresh Build 2013
I made my own "tuck" harness out of my OEM harness and wasn't real happy with how it came out. I took the time to extend the wires using another OEM harness and matching up the colors and all that good stuff and it just bugged the crap out of me. I came across a good deal on a new Rywire harness from a buddy of mine and scooped it up. Only complaint I have on this harness is no matter what I do the alternator plug will not snap all the way in to the socket and I had to just put zipties around it to hold it tight.
I also bought a new intake. $40 shipped and fit pretty good. Threw my K&N on there and it was good to go. At this point it was 90% there, just needed to wire in the new harness, finish bolting on the front end and put all the suspension back together again.
I cleaned up the factory fuel line from the rail to the filter and no matter what I did to it just wasn't happy with how it looked. I saw Fuel tuck'd on Facebook selling custom fuel line setups and picked one up for pretty cheap black on black on black of course. I like the look of the OEM fuel filter and didn't want to mess with relocating any of that stuff.

Re: WhiteSlipsWithStickers Refresh Build 2013
Damn I actually took the kosei's off in favor of some TD pro race 2's that will clear my brakes a bit better lol.
the look is slightly similar as far as the stance goes but either way its going to be a while before I could even post pics of it on the ground.
your bay is incredibly clean. I was attempting to go with a similar look with my ek but that went sour fast lol.
And as far as the motors are concerned I currently have both of those motors and based on what I paid for you would most likely assume they were stolen but I have all the paper work and serial numbers intact to prove their legitimacy which is extremely rare in NJ lol

Thanks! I may or may not have eaten a cheeseburger off of the valve cover when I was working on the wiring.
Yep, they are for my wife's TSX.
Yeah, Koseis have super flat spokes so I can see that. I just test fit some 15s on my car and even with just stock GSR brakes the caliper is pretty close to the part of the wheel where the spoke meets the hub.
Thanks man, lot's of hours of sitting there just cleaning and thinking things out. I didn't want to have to redo anything later so...
I should have just bought a wrecked GSR years ago and stripped everything off and parted it out and kept the suspension and engine/trans. Kick myself for doing it one little tiny piece at a time instead of buying a cheap wrecked car to begin with. 8 years ago they weren't that hard to find....

Re: WhiteSlipsWithStickers Refresh Build 2013
Just a little recap-
The final product-
My first show/meet with the car was Import Faceoff and I won best engine bay literally the day after I got it on the road. I had to weld up a ghetto exhaust to make it bearable to drive 80 miles round-trip and everything went good.
Morning of the show about to head out-
After that show I switched up the intake, painted a spare valve cover classic grey, and organized things a little better.
Picture someone took at a local meet. A little too much editing going on, but I thought it was a decent shot-
Probably the best car photo I've taken so far. I'm no pro, but I was very happy with this one.
The progression of my engine bay over the years. The top picture is the day I drove the car home after buying it.
