Hey guys. I found this car in the forums in Cali while I was in Iraq and decided to spend the extra income on it. It was sold as just the shell (bought it from HTmember dumafit, and he had a K in it and took it to the track). I love this car, even without driving it yet lol this thing's legit. It was imported to Cali by the previous and is now registered in WA under it's 10 degit JDM vin.
Here's what I received in my drive way. Not running. Tore up....

Re: Tore up from the floor up JDM EG6
Plans for it right now....
Motor- GSR swap. More details coming soon.
Interior- Sparco Turino fronts. NRG steering wheel setup.
Exterior- STOCK!!....and a BYS cf wing
A friend has the swap. Just trying to make time to go pull it. I also have the Turinos and steering wheel setup except for a steering wheel.
I want to keep it as much stock looking as possible and still turn heads where ever it goes. Any suggestions, lmk. Thanks

Im confused, if the dude had a frank K in there previously, how is the stock right side motor mount still there? Im almost positive to put a K into there, that mount has to be removed.
Either way, looks like its gonna be a good build. Clean looking chassis

He must of welded the stock mount back cause you're right, right side mount comes off for a k-swap. You could tell there was a k-swap in there cause you could see the drilled holes in the right side frame behind the headlight.

Great start to a project...a clean chassis to start with..."smart"
Also, for those looking for rhd, to get one like this that comes factory, is the "only" way to do it.....conversions are gay.
Good luck with the car...the body looks to be clean and not rusted out, such a big plus!!!

Re: Tore up from the floor up JDM EG6
thanks everyone
yes it's albert's old car. and i'll just stay positive and say there's a lot of work to do. i'm ready for it so bring it on.
it didn't have a cluster in it. so i found one and put it in. i also have a NRG short hub and quick release to put on but no wheel, so if anyone knows of one laying around they'd like to donate or trade for cash then lmk!

Re: Tore up from the floor up JDM EG6
thanks everyone. the plans i have right now don't have much more interior, other than the front seats up. maybe some nice bars in the back but nothing too flashy. but once that build plan is done, i'm going for complete stock. so i'll be searching for some eg6 fold down seats lol thanks again everyone.
next up should be the gsr swap. i'll keep the thread updated

Re: Tore up from the floor up JDM EG6
if they are the usdm eg seats it's no big deal (prob what you keep seeing).
the authentic jdm eg6 seats are different, but i don't know much about it.
anyone care to help? other than the material pattern and i think the back side being plastic....i think anyways??
