Updates:

- Bought some new Rain-X wipers.

-Tightened up where the header meets the cat using a bolt, washer and nut and car sounds good again, and also picked up some torque all around for sure.

Noticed that my outer CV joint boot is ripped too so going to have to fix that too. Heres some pictures I took a few days ago. A lot more updates coming this month. Slowly but surely.

I need to start piecing my power steering setup as well this winter. I found a D16Y8 P/S pump, I can;t wait! Yesterday I bought some more Aircraft stripper to finish stripping the paint. Going to have the hood sanded, primed and ready for paint today hopefully.
Also looked at my radio once again, the passenger speaker never worked and I found out a few months ago why when I redid my wires for the cd player. The 2 wires for the passenger speaker is nowhere in sight in the center console, I got to track it down so that I can plug it in but I still didnt find it.

New energy shift bushings should be installed sometime during this month as well.

Also got a quart of Mobil 1 to top off my oil.

This happened yesterday lol.

Update:

Got some parts from Majestic Honda.

-Rear wiper blade
-Handle to open the rear window bc alot of times water gets in the grooves and its frozen shut and its impossible to lift the window.
-Shifter bushings and misc shifter parts since my shifter feels so hard, really need this.

I plan on changing the bushings on Friday as well as bleeding my brakes because my brake pedal has always felt mushy like spongebob squarepants haha.

Also got some wiper fluid. I need an oil change soon!

Really slacking on the updates, but 2010 is gonna be good :bang:

I bought them like that. Gunmetal gray ftw!

Anyways, I changed my bushings and when I went to bleed my brakes my ratchet and socket broke so I bought a new socket but still need a new ratchet.

Bought a pair of Sony speakers yet my passenger still not working, have been looking at it but no avail. I will trace the wire and make its connected right.

I have tons of pics but I haven't uploaded them because theyre in RAW format and I cant convert them now.

I bought 4 jacks too to do all this work. Pics soon!

Alright so last Friday I got the car on jacks and I changed my bushings and when I went to bleed my brakes my ratchet and socket broke so I bought a new socket but still need a new ratchet. Then this Tuesday my friend Miguel aka clumbz came over and helped me bleed the brakes, they feel a lot better now and more gradual. My fluid was black before haha.

Bought a pair of Sony speakers yet my passenger still not working, have been looking at it but no avail. Im getting power in the wires there and everywhere in the deck but it still doesnt work, I hate this problem!

I installed the rear wiper but not the tab yet, I think I might be missing a bolt that I didnt order.
I have tons of pics but I haven't uploaded them because theyre in RAW format and I cant convert them now but here are some other ones I took on Tuesday.

I bought 4 jacks too to do all this work along with misc stuff like grease, gloves, brake fluid, hex screwdriver keyset and hoses.

Washed the car and inflated my tires after. Car feels solid now I had been driving with 20psi haha. Shifts smooth and drives smooth!

My **** clumbz

I traded it for a stock one and painted it, I really didnt like the gap that it had or the fact that it didnt really flow on a stock car and I wanted something that cops weren't going to notice and put a racer label on me ya kno?

Looking good. Doesn't look like it has that much rust on it for a Mass car.
Mine came from Gloucester and was nearly eaten alive. Keep up the good Work.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, just havent been updating here on HT much.

Vacuumed the interior and got new seat belts installed at the Honda dealer. They are nice and snug and actually retract nicely...

My right rear brake is being loud when I brake, I barely had any pad left on there. Going to order some OEM ones ASAP.

I have decided to save up and get my car painted!!! After I gave it a quick 30 min polish and saw how good it looked. I thought of going with Maaco but have since decided to save up for a real shop. Granada black of course.

Im sick of people looking at it and saying its an old car! Its a timeless machine and so I want to make people want to ride it and that will put a on me haha.

But first I need to fix the brakes, get some new axles ( boots are torn) and get my radio working 100% and whatever else.

I just changed my oil as well for the 2nd time. That was 6,000 miles on that oil haha. Synthetic baby.

I took some pictures with clumbz last week, here they are. Not the best but it is what it is!!

And finally, what is that hose for?

Thanks dood, as long as you dont mind waiting you certainly won't be disappointed.

I ended up buying autozone duralast pads and sliders so I will be changing the rear brakes Monday. When I upgrade my brake system I'll put something nicer back there.

You ever find out what that line to the carbon canister is?
I have a pdf version service manual, if you want I can send it to you.
BTW, are you going to delete it or keep the carbon canister?

That end of the line goes nowhere, its just a loose hose. Just trying to figure out where it used to go, probably intake but I have a cone and pipe so... I dont know where it goes yet, I have the helms in pdf, just don't feel like searching 1000 pages for it.

Finally got a small window of time where the weather hit 35* so I was able to change my pads on the right rear side yesterday.

I only did that side because I didnt have slides for the right rear and the pads on that were okay so I'll leave that for when I get better weather.

First time doing brake work, the bolts came out easier than I thought, but still needed a lot of force to break free.

I rented a tool from autozone to push the caliper piston back in. That piston would not go back in haha. I broke the bleeder screw loose and barely any fluid came out ?? but then I pulled the handbrake and with a lot of force managed to get the piston back in. The brake reservoir was open too so Im not sure why the fluid didnt really come out.

The old pads was toast! Heres my boy Thiaggo doing work on his birthday ! :bang:

That's all the updates for today

its something for emissions, vaccume purge i think. u can leave it hooked up or just plus the end of the hose,if its disconnected. it can make your car can idle weird if its not.
