Hope you all enjoy a few photos of my pride and job that I have built, owned and loved for the past 6 years.
Purchased my car strait out of school in 2003 and originally meant to be a daily driver. Started to modify slowly but never intended it to come this far. Didn’t like the wear and tear from daily driving and after a year later decided to take it more seriously.
Put a total of 25000ks on it since 2003. I concentrated on making this one of the most unique Civics in the country, rather then jumping on the growing in popular JDM Style. A lot of the work was done in-house by myself, as I love hands on DIY. The goal was to be a street legal “All-round” car. A unique show car that would turn heads and would be the only one of its kind around on the street, something I could take to the 1/4 mile and circuit to have some fun with and do some reasonable times. As well as have a decent stereo to listen to.
The whole project was funded on apprentice wages which included heavy overtime and extra work on weekends.
JDM styling is a growing craze in Australia. Originally I wanted my car to be a “Sexspec” street car. But over time socializing with JDM modifiers, the style grew on me. I was never completely converted however I wanted the best of both worlds. The car started with the blue bonnet and big 20” chrome wheels. So I wanted to be able to “change shoes” every now and again for a different look. Therefore a second set of JDM Buddy club P1 racing rims, a black fiberglass vented bonnet and a carbon-fibre bonnet. This changed the style quite well with just 2 simple things.

Thats allright . You have to understand this is an australian car; RHD is standard down under. I understand going for a "Left wing" Style as such there will always be just as many supporters as non-supporters, im not going to be a person who complains that people dont like my car.

I dont like the look of the car, but it is well put together, great paint, quality products, boost! You did a great job on the car, the trunk needs a little work though anything planned with that? maybe fiberglass them in? At least Its not like other riced out civics with half painted body kits, rotas, apc gauges, stock suspension.
Q: Why have 3 apexi controllers, are all 3 for tuning or just looks?? 2 boost controllers??

WOWZSER. I can't believe you did that **** to the four door. Why, oh why did you mold the rear doors. Four doors are the ****, but yours just look like it. All the controllers on the dash.. WTF. How much boost you pushing?? Then the chrome fake *** m3 mirrors. The only good thing I like on your car is the paint and the spoon calipers. I'm sorry man but you made me mad when I saw what you did...don't mind my comments. You should have never molded the rear doors.

oh..and that awefull 20" eyesore on your fender. Damn the first time i'm seeing 20's on a civic. I'm surprised you don't have lambo or gull-wing doors, flip-flop trunk. That would have finished the look.oh man.

Thanks for the feedback. No need to worry about offending me with your opinions. All i ask is that you do so with curtisy.
In regards to the apexi head-up displays. AVCR (Electronic boost controller), RSM (multi-function monitoring & timing device). Both these are fuctional, however the apexi AFC neo is the only for asthetic purposes.

Re: RHD Turbo Civic - Aussie Sex-Spec 2 Door Sedan
Hey guys,
Yes 20" x 7.5" with 225 30 r20 tires. A very tight fit, not to mention expensive on the rubber :S
Havnt got much more plans for it. I did purchase a ERL performance Short block a while back so thats what i have been tinkering with lately.

I like the buddy clubs, spoon calipers, color, and even the shaved decklid. But i'll pass on the 20"s, body kit, and come on man the 4 doors are for more ******.
