Re: (pr3d)
Little update about my car, striped it down to the bare chassis and then I striped down that shitty sound protection or what ever that shitty black thing under the carpet is...that really did toke me lot of time, now I'm striping off that mastic so we can weld all those stitches...so when I strip down all that mastic it's time to turn it around and strip the bottom to and then finally weld that thing and after that it's going to shop to get FIA homologated welded cage...
Some photos of how it looks now
Those that know how that should be done, know how many hours is already into this and how many it will go in this project

O and forgot to mention I got some nice parts for it:
ES bushing kit and will buy other bushings that aren't in kit...will sand down all the parts from the suspension, arms... and then paint those with so they look nice and clean...

i just did mine..made a thread about a lil while ago too....its a pain-staking process...theres 2 way....
1.) Heat gun..and putty knife...REALLY time consuming as you have to hold it over sections of dynamat and then use the putty knife to chisel off the dynamat
2.) Dry-Ice....wish i knew about this before i attempted the other options..apprently you can just lay the drive ice all over the floor-board and once it freezes the mat you can just use a rubber mallot and hammer it and it breaks into pieces...def. looks and sounds like its easier. i would do it this route the next time...
hope that helped
on another note:
WOW..another frame-up restoration project...this is amazing...
BADASS!

Yop that is the way I did it but without dry ice, it was cold outside so I didn't need it but sure would of helped me a lot if I rememberd about dry ice cause I was thinking about how to freez that **** more...was really pain in the *** to remove that **** and then to clean it to look like now...but must say that this is the second car that I own and I'm doing this **** and I hope that it's the last, that is why this one must be perfect
Will be posting more photos during the process...don't worry will show all and help out with answers to Q.s
Thanks for compliments, I must say that I can't wait either to see CRX back on the road but it's a long way to that moment...money is one of the biggest problems cause there is so many things I want to do and to do it perfect it takes a lot $$$
