J Swapped Rando Sports EK Build Thread ** TONNES OF PICS & VIDS**
OK. So the car is finished and running so I gathered up all the pics I have and thought I would make a build thread here to share with everyone.
Many thanks to Dan T., Gitano S., Pino, Terry B., Nebyu, and Fe9L.
I dont really remember the exact timeline of everything but here are the pics.
2007/2008
Old GSR motor
Old GSR motor out
Subframe, steering rack, and control arms out
Found an old skool Bride seat and a DC5 R wheel at a local JDM importer
EG subframe, steering rack, and control arms installed
Fuel Stuff
K20 meets EK4
All finished and running
New Kicks
Random in the rain pic
New Toys
Out with the old in with the new (r-crew is the lower one)
And finally the beloved RBC
Newest addition
2009 updates
Rando Kit and Seeker Wing Painted
Mini Shoot early early this year
BYE BYE K20.... Hello J32
Speedo and Tach use different signal or something so to correct the problem....

Just a few pages of the wiring
Sitting in the dash
All lit up ready to go.
Prototype SHAKER Honda Edition Hood lol
cluster and speedo work bueno
Pics of the 99% finished hood.
UPDATED 5 LUG PICS
Pic from Honda Tech Meet 6 in Toronto.
And finally how it sits now.
Here are some vids.
Dyno Vid. I was at some VW show and they had a portable dyno set up. I figured why not. Motor is stock and untuned.
A few vids of me at the track. Best time was 13.1 @105mph. 1.9 60ft. I was on old falken 615's again untuned stock motor/ecu. Good times lol

Nice! Dont like how the intake sits going THRU the hood, but what ever. still loks sexy to me!

i liked it 10x better with the stock bumpers it looked so CLEAN and the k20 was looking fresh. but to each his own. nice work

Damn used to think J swaps were the gayest thing ever but I think it was just cause people didn't put hoods on them you got that **** fitted perfect super super nice work bro hit me up if you still have that little spoon k20 dress up kit lol!

This is bloody fantastic! I personally think a nice touch would be to modify the front plug cover to house a H badge rather than the Acura one.

car is ****. the only thing i might have done would be to cover the oil cap when he redid the hood. due to the fact that some people **** with peoples cars. cuz they be hate'n

way to $*%^ing own that j-swap. that car barsically is sex on wheels. lol i would of been happy with the "Old" GS-R motor.
