Saturday 5/7
Most of the day was spent on making gussets for the B-pillars on the roll cage. I also got the block/trans into the car and the calipers on.

Sunday 5/8
Most of the day was spent getting the interior ready to paint, and then painted.
Many hours later, it is just about done.
The next few days will be focused on the engine and then getting the interior back together when the paint is dried enough.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
Thanks Guys!
It is coming together much faster than I expected. The hard part is trying to not rush too much. it scares me that I might forget something.
I am also thinking that I am going to wait until after the Eibach meet to install the coil on plug kit. I want to get it running with a base map and know that everything is working before I get into that.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
Now for some updates!
The head is on, timed etc. Just needs a valve adjustment and fluids.
The engine harness is on and currently working on integrating the Rywire sub-harness.
The valve cover bungs are welded and I just need to cut the cam gear side and paint both the valve cover and catch can.
The dash was flocked last night. It is still drying, but so far I am very happy with how it looks. I have plenty left over to do the small dash pieces.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
Thanks! I am very happy with how it came out.
So after going through every radiator hose that AutoZone has to offer, I was able to find one that works great. Just a tiny bit of trimming.
5/11
Found radiator hose.
trimmed and cleaned up valve cover.
Painted Valve cover and catch can.
Suspension is back together.
Exhaust and shift linkage reinstalled.
began stripping unneeded wires from shock tower harness, since the Rywire harness goes from engine, directly to ECU.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
I will leave this info here for anyone else who may find it useful at some point.
If using a "Tucked" radiator and a Speed Factory water neck, but wanting to use a rubber radiator hose. Below is the information on a hose I found that works great, with just a little trimming.
Hose information
Brand: Dayco
Length code: "D"
Part# 71679
Trimming Instructions.
Trim just over 1/2 inch from water neck side.
Trim over 1 inch from radiator side.
It is also needed to slightly twist the hose to get the proper angle.

Looking great! Progress is coming along nicely Absolutely love the flocking dask...
on that note.. how difficult is that to do? It's something that's crossed my mind for my Integra

Thread makes we want to buy a hatch and do a build! Car looks so awesome.
Have you posted what EMS you are using? Maybe I just missed it. I see the harness you have and the EPM/COP setup but I didn't see mention of any management.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
sorry for the complete lack of updates recently. I have been out of town for a week.
The car made it together in time to be in the Eibach booth at this years Honda Meet.
There is still a lot to do before I get it back on track, but the hard work of assembling everything is finished.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
Okay, so after being gone all of last week I decided to not jump back in full speed this week.
So the car made it together in time to be in the Eibach booth at the "Eibach Meet" not the way that I wanted it to be, but it's together and can move under it's own power.
There are some things that still need to be addressed.
1. Gauge cluster.
The dash bar of the cage is too high and does not let the OEM cluster bolt into place. Looking at digital dash options, but they are expensive...
2. Interior Door Handles
the OEM handles are still just hanging in the doors.
3. More ducting.
talked with a friend who tried a similar radiator setup on his K swapped EK. Said this radiator could not keep temps down and highly suggested adding more ducting.
4. New Hood
I recently got my hands on an old Fiber Images hood and have a mold for a hood vent. This ties back to the ducting above. but is a whole project in itself.
5. Engine tuning
6. Alignment
7. Tires
8. Roll bar modifications.
I may need to put a bend into the harness bar. The seat is very close and not sure I can get the proper seat position/harness angle with how it is now.

How "bad" is it? Mine was the same way, it didn't fit that well. I finally got it snuggled in there with the passenger side screws in and broke the bottom tab off then used zip ties for the driver side holes. Not the best fitment, but once the bezel went in; it was hard to tell there was an issue.

Re: From HPDE to Endurance/Wheel to Wheel build
It's pretty bad. It a full inch from the mounting tabs. So to make it work I will need to trim the bezel a lot.
We'll see though. I would rather have the bar high with more leg room and figure something out with the cluster.
