Default french caddic rs by jc's garage

hello !
after the project last year ( my civic top chop ) https://honda-tech.com/forums/appearance-build-threads-122/little-new-france-ef-top-chop-3105833/

this year i want to change my track car usually I use a civic ef 130 hp but I want to change and have something like it but with an appearance more fun....

last summer I went in the south of france to buy a volkswagen caddy

with his friend he left....

at home after 300 miles

he's also pretty light !

last oktober I bought the mechanical part of the project an civic crx 130 hp and begin the project

the motor I love

beginning of put off some things

puting off the front drive train because I'll keep it ...

electric parts

and I need to buy a new toy ....

wait little ....

I have to take some measure

vertical of the wheel

center of the civic

and highter of it

I hope it'll be good for the next step
it's now time to cut off !!!!!!!!!

and keep just what I need

now time to bring the caddy in the garage

redoing the "lasering"

and putting off

it's time to find how put the red part in the yellow one !!!!!!!!!!!

who is the silly man which have take measure before beginning this porject ?
the civic it's more and more larger than the caddy !

time to go on

hum so rusty !

beginning of cutting little the civic part

for the next step I have to weld a " marbre "

back at home

with the caddy put on it

if you d'ont want to see it I prefer that you leave the post

GO TO CUT !!!!

keep it for later

it become to be fun !

some time later

it's ready

cleaning the civic part

first try , I 'll have to solve problem after problem to put it in

just putting on the caddy part it become to smell good

at the end of last year as I 'll past the evening of new year with friends whos loves caddy I do a bar to celbrate it !

and have a new part for the project

rear train of renault clio 2 rs

continu to cut off to can wleding different parts

before

after

puttin on bonnet and fender

it's little too long

so cutting off the front

little better but not perfect

so cutting !

prepare the new front of caddy

and welding it on the caddy

it fit really perfect

to ending the day
a final view
it's officiel it's now a caddic !

continuing welding an cutting
sorry I can't translate because I don't now the real name off all the different parts

preparing

the hight part of caddy firwall

civic one

after little cleaning

the part of the caddy

welded view from motor

view from interior

have to welded this part too

an this one

that's done

here too

with the fender it's ok

and I get ftrom a friend a rear of caddy that I can make moulds for the rear fender

so the reason for putting the crx engine bay in is for easier fitment for a honda motor?
