I bought a lot when I did my S2000 and had some left over and was bored an did it up. my fabric is from a friend in Japan, but they sell the Taiwan stuff on ebay but I'm not sure of the quality. The fabric I have is nice because its double sided an the back is a foam padding type material.

Ok so I did the harness today and I have a problem because of ChaseBays. They sent a subharness for a Integra and not a EK so I can't hook up to the driver side strut tower or the green plug on passenger side. AND EITHER WAY IT DOSENT MATTER BECAUSE HE ALSO DIDNT ADD A PLUG FOR ECT. IM SHORT 1 PLUG. ALSO NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE VTEC SINGLE WIRE DIDNT EVEN COME WITH A PLUG, but my core did. It turns out that when its wired he eliminates the Vtec oil press so it wasn't short 2. Despite all these problems, the kid still wont admit the mistake, or try to correct it. When I finally got him on the phone days later, I sent some pics and he walked me through it.

Ok so this just turned into something that I never thought it would. The harness he sent gives me no choice but to move the fuse box from the engine bay into the cabin, since this has to happen I decided to go ahead and do a complete wire tuck including the headlight harness. I have a thread with a DIY for the wire tuck however now that I've done it and this thread is a few years old, I would have done it much differently, with breakout boots and Raychem. But the DIY will give you the basic idea of what needs to happen.

I'm going to start a in detail headlight wire tuck DIY. So long as you set up enough time to complete the tuck you will be ok. However if you rely on the car as a daily, make sure you have time to complete it OR if you are not mechanicly inclined dont bother. The fenders and headlights gotta come off. The heater core & blower motor, glove box on the interior D/S you just have to remove a bracket and a small box. Then unplug and reroute everything. You do not need to enlongate the harness anywhere, dont worry. A dremel will be your best friend for this process, as well as clear silicone, snips, electrical tape or Raychem sleeving... say word.

It's sad that I have 2000 hits but 6 comments. Next time I guess I'll just do a build on how to add neon lights under the car an some head & tail light smoking. Prolly a bombex kit, an white guage cluster covers. Ask questions like can I fit 20's on my civic, OR what stuffed animal should I hang from my tow hook? Thats what gets the most positive support here I guess.

I finally got the correct sub harness today. Everything is hooked up like it should be. Dealing with Chasebays was and is a nightmare. After install all the plugs are in their right spots. I hear the fuel pump click on. BUT THE CAR WONT START. IT CRANKS AN CRANKS. I know the fuel injector clips are correct. All my grounds are hooked up. CAR RAN 2 WEEKS AGO NO PROBLEM BEFORE THIS. IDK. STARTED TA RAIN HAD TA LEAVE IT. WOULDNT START WITH THE P28 OR OBD2A P72. THE P72 DEF WORKS AS THATS WHAT I WAS USEING BEFORE. Pretty sure something harness related on their end.

Very nice build. You seem to have a pretty good idea of what you want and haven't gotten in over your head. I will keep checking in on this thread. Good work!

I got that mother ta start. I went back and tested all the wires at the dizzy an ECU with a multi meter. The power wire to the ignitor plug was loose at the sub harness, so it was a chase issue, in fact this thing is garbage theres a bunch of pins pulling out of the connectors and the crimps. Nothing like having to question something you just paid big money for thats brand new. Without the multi meter I would have never known. By looking at the subharness pins they looked good. Now its time to start to put the car back together and take it for paint. I never change colors of cars so it's gettin some OEM white again. Just wish I could spray the bay and stitch weld the factory holes up. But oh well it's already starting to be too much an I have to remind myself the real purpose of this car. It's never goin to any shows, an it's never gonna be a drag car I auto-X. Nor am I into drag racing in a straight line.

The mounts look really good. I don't have $350 in my budget for Avid's or Hasport now though. I have billet torque mounts and the dampner for the mean while. Thanks for the positive input. Yea it really came together fast. I've only had the car for 4 weeks, movin right along. You know whats crazy before I did all this it has a bad idle. It would just idle up an down like it needed a map whack. Now it's strong as hell an idles awesome. Tomorrow will be the first time I've driven it in 2 weels and I'm sure it's gonna be amazing with that tranny. I need paint bad. Thats priority 1 right now. $800 is all I got for that. Luckily I've painted 10 cars at the same spot and will end up with a good job for that, or a few hundred more. CHECK OUT MY WIRE TUCK GUIDE!!!!!!!!I TOOK ALOTA TIME TO TRY TA HELP OUT OUR EK'S 8'S & Em1'S

I have only $1000 left right now. It was around $4500. I did sooo much in only 2 weeks it was seriously nuts. Now I blew my nut an it's time to settle down. Paint and thats it. Now monthly I'll start ta piece together a turbo kit, & wheels, Hondata s300, an thats it. It's future might have 5 lug in it an some nicer seats CTR, ITR ? And a SI or CTR cluster. I need to redo all the suspension bushings. I'm sure that over the next 2 years it will get the full treatment, but not as fast as I was goin here. If I were to really go all out I would need minimum 25 grand. Easy.

Hi, because this particular one is from japan. They don't have that vin there. As far as here 95 an lower usually don't have them either. For example a 95 GSR,LS wont have it either. Your US block also has the VIN under the headers er somewhere along the oil pan on the back of the engine there is also usually a hidden VIN plate.
