Block back from the machine shop after being decked and bored .25 over. A special thank you to Rob's Machine Shop in Hayward, CA. I recommend going there for your machine shop needs. He kept me informed the entire time and got it done quickly.

I communte to my college every morning on a freeway that has a lot of construction going on. The traffic cones were merging lanes on the far left and a cone was out of the line with others. I couldn't avoid it and hit it dead on. Cracked my front bumper and my SIR lip came off. I was able to retrieve the lip but there was too much damage.

I did have plans to replace the front bumper sometime down the road since it is an aftermarket OE style bumper and has fitment issues with the SIR lip as well as gaps under the headlights.

That sucks!!! Some ******* probably hit the cone on purpose with a truck just so someone would run over it.

Picked up a set of .25 oversized USDM p73 pistons from the Acura dealership. Will bump compression to about 10.89:1. Should make 165-170whp with a decent header. After Skunk2 Intake Manifold, a Tri-Y header and some good cams should make about 200whp. Still debating whether to use a Hondata or chip on Chrome.

Traded my VIS carbon fiber hood for an OEM hood. The VIS hood was warped or something because it did not fit correctly over the headlights so I didnt mind trading for an OE hood. The paint isn't the best on this hood and will be painted along with a new bumper in the up coming month. Plan is to finish just the block then fix the front end.
