Default B18B1 Hatch build

Disclaimer this is my build thread, I'm not responsible for any damages and injures that happen to your car or you if you decide to go do something you've seen in this thread, or are inspired by it to do something. Safety is very important! Some of the work I've done to the car is very dangerous, so please if you don't feel safe doing something don't do it! and use proper safety equipment when required! I am very fortunate to be able to do something like this, because of resource provide to me. I can't thank the people who helped me enough for what they done! Now sit back and enjoy my build.

What up H-T, So i decide I'm going to restore and build my eg. I'm going to keep you all up to date with whats going on. This is my DD so this build is going to be done in 2 parts the first part will be the restore of the body and then part 2 will be the build and dropping it in
A little history about the car i got it a few months ago, previous owner treated it like ****, wiring harnesses are falling apart and poorly done. Bond on the quarter panels was a complete fail. As well as the flat black paint job... its a fail as well.
What I've done so far is gut the car and put in suspension ... I'm going to be getting new quarter panels soon to wield in and fix the rust + paint job
Here are some pics
BTW all feedback/help/tips is appreciated!

So today I got some more parts, Block sandwich plate, MSD ignition and then my buddy gave me a MSD dizzy cap w/o the rotor but thats no biggie. I also redid my wires for the ECU, going to order some looms to cover up the electric tape , and last night i ran into a little incident were some stones fell out a truck and hit my hood... photo shows the damage. thankfully it was just the clear coat that cracked.

If my project was that rusted out, I'd focus on body work first then build the engine.

Exactly what I'm doing first cleaning it up then doing the motor build

Yeah well I wouldn't dump money into the motor and have a shitty shell, I want it to look clean and its alot better than my old civic. And for now theirs nothing really I can do till i go to the shop to cut stuff off and weld new stuff on, but if u got any ideas, I'm always open to peoples advice and help, thanks

So first of all today before I went to work, my buddy dropped off a spare valve cover and i decide i'm going to shave it and do some sick paint job,but I'm not done prepping it. Theirs a picture of whats done so far, The thing that excited me most was coming home at 3:30 in the morning to find my package from fixmyrust.com with both panels. Know all I got to do is wait for shop time and then it will be paint time!!! o most rust free!!! btw looking for someone in the Chicago land area with a fender roller, don't wanna do these ghetto style

Figured I might throw these up since everyone always loves looking at pictures. Also I had to cut my rear bumper due to the condition of the screws being so stripped, so if anyone has a rear bumper for sale, send me a PM, please looking to get one asap!
