Default worn out valve steam guides - good way to fix it?

I bought a used head and disassembled the stock b16a -p30 head and noticed tht the valve guides were worn out.
I could move the valves much more than I could it on all other heads in the past (0.5" lifted from the seats).

The valve steams were ok.
I took some old Crower valves for a try (the steams are exactly 5.5mm - that means a little bigger than stock).
With these Crower valves the movement of the valves was ok.
Do you think this is a good way to fix the problem?

My thoughts are that buying a new set of these valves is cheaper and less complicated than buying new valve guides, taking the tho old out and installing new ones.

After taking the new valves with the little bigger steam diameter I plan to check the steam-to-guide clearance. If it is to small I want to ream it out a littlebit.

Any suggestions on that topic?
