What you think is Best Ignition Timing and Cam Setting
Got a B16B with Toda Spec A's, Toda Headers, Toda Cam gears, MSD ignition, coil, wires, Skunk2 intake manifold, JUN hyper exhaust system, AEM CAI on my '96 Civic HB. NGK Iridiums.
Stock timing is 16 degrees. I was thinking of advancing it to 18 degress, what you think?
Cam gears are currently set a 8 degrees advance on the intake and 4 degrees advance on exhaust side. What do you think?
Tried 0 degrees on INT & EXH, tried 4 Adv Int 0 degress Exh, tried 4 degrees adv int 4 degrees ret exh, tried 4 degrees adv int 4 degrees and exh on a dyno, but the above mentioned 8 degrees adv int and 4 degrees adv exh so far made the best peak hp as well as throughout the entire power band.
Like to hear your trial and errors regarding ignition timing and cam settings....

wut r u talking about *******.... you haven't even taken that car to a dyno..
and probably never will..

Anyways.. for the guy asking, get yourself a good tuner and go back to the dyno.. it sounds that if you are still not comfortable with what you got then it didn't get tuned right.
That is your best bet.
