Toda spec b valve adjustment with toda cam gear question
i toda spec b cams. i checked my valve lash and felt i had to make adjustments on the 1st cylinder. i set .006 intake and .007 exhaust.
when you ppl do valve adjustment, especially who have toda cam gears, what are you exactly lining up for cylinders 3 and 2, since firing order is 1, 3, 4, 2??
And of course you just line up the TDC lines on the cam gears for cylinder 1 and 4, so thats easy.
i think TDC for cylinder 3 and 2 are in between 2 teeth.
plus my cams are advanced 1-2 degrees. so does that matter if im doing valve lash??
i noticed kind of a clicking noise louder than before. i rechecked my valve lash and the exhaust side on cylinder 1 seems a bit loose. it doesnt really drag with the feeler guage. i guess the clicking noise is from the rocker arm? thanks for any info.

Taken from Toda's website:
"*TECHNICAL NOTE
All TODA Racing camshafts must be tuned using TODA adjustable campulleys to attain maximum performance. Valve lash for all cams is 0.2mm cold. Spec B & C camshafts require TODA valve springs. For Spec A camshafts, the following Honda/Acura valvetrain components maybe used up to 8400rpm on both the intake and exhaust side."

Re: Toda spec b valve adjustment with toda cam gear question (b18c-93)
thanks man, only thing is that i have both cams advanced a couple degrees and im not sure how exact i have to be. even at 0, 0 cam settings the up marks are actually not straight up, rather alittle angle to the upper left with the lines match on intake and exhaust. kind of confusing especially doing 3 and 2.
