Skunk2 stage3 tuner cam degree specs
Has anyone ever degreed in these cams before? I am curious to know what was your setup and where the cams gears ended up after been degreed. Before most of you start to flake about "every setup is different", I am just curious to know.

Re: Skunk2 stage3 tuner cam degree specs
2 year bump. i need these specs as well. i just came across these cams and wiseco k594m85 85mm 13.1-14.2. at a handsome price. i will be running only e85 with 550cc or better. also what advice do you give about my proposed setup? head porting is not an option right now and i need to find the most reliable yet cost effective valve trane to run. also i have s200. can i tune with this. thanks.

When degreed in on my gsr cam dwelled ar centerline. At perfect center I got +2i +1 exhaust. Camgears were not at perfect 0 when started due to milling and decking. Your settings will vary.

Thought: VTEC engagement by compressed air isn't necessary for dialing in, only for p2p and v2v clearance, right? Unless these specs are for the high lift lobes?

Re: Skunk2 stage3 tuner cam degree specs
The people asking this question here in this thread really don't understand what "degreeing" a pair of camshafts means. A "quick cam setting" or using someone elses settings is of no use... you are basically HOPING that these settings are going to work for you. If you are good with a GUESS... then go with it. Your chances of that being right are just as good as running the cams straight up at 0,0. The whole point of degreeing a pair of cams is to get the crank to cam event perfect mechanically. This orientation is affected by block deck height, head gasket thickness, crankshaft line bore/hone, cylinder head cut, and even timing belt tension just to name a few variables. So if you want it right... do it right. Degree kits can be purchased online... or find a shop who can do it for you. Stop GUESSING.
