Its not a 1.8L anymore - it is an 84mm bore, almost 2.0L. Respectfully, I disagree with you - based on his setup I feel that the Ultra Street series is his best choice. Also, if you look at the Skunk2 comparison picture that I posted in my previous post, the Ultra Street series is designed for a setup like his. I believe you'll be leaving power on the table w/ the Pro Series.

2 liters like ITR style manifolds best usually. It is possible he could gain a couple HP from the ultra street, but I don't think it would be more than a HP or 2, and possibly lose some midrange.

I like the new Ultra street manifold, its a good choice.
I've tuned a fair amount of 1.8s with the victor, street cars, and the powerband is perfectly fine. Its going to all depend on the cams, header and actual head setup.. Sometimes the manifold can be too big, but more times then not, its fine.. A lot of misinformation still floating around.
Its not just a turbo manifold, although it does perform really, really well on turbo cars. The VictorX on my personal ITR years back did well over the Gen1 skunk. I had it on my first 2.0 liter build and loved it before I got on my ITB kick..
I'd strongly recommend a PerfX manifold that's modded or a ultra street if its a street car..
