Default building a b16

can i use an ls crank with the b16 pistons and rods or would have to get a new b16 crank. Btw its a b16a2

No you can't use the ls crank....

just use a gsr crank and change your internals..

you can use the rods but will have to get custom pistons

I wouldnt do anything unless you plan to do some serious planning when swapping oem parts and custom upgrades.... You do a gsr crank with b16 rods u have to get the 95mm stroker kit pistons and still you're gonna need to do some other extras to make sure your p2v is good to go and so on.... So what is it that the op wants out of this....? Mild stroke, little more compression, just need to replace crank and thought an ls would work...

i would say B16 crank with high comp piston with after market rods with arp rod bolts. just my idea. But no you cant use ls crank with B16 rods/piston. but you can use ls crank with a ls gsr rods with b16 piston.
