Default Passing Smog

I have to smog my car and was just curious what installed upgrades might severly affect smog. For example can an Intake affect smog in anyway?

if it has a carb sticker, like the one from comptech, then the somg guy won't bother you....although...i've passed with an intake....you will pass the tailpipe test, but it's the visual that gets you. samething with headers and exhaust. if you get factory cams and pistons, u "should" pass with no prob. skunk2 stage1 cams are also carb approved. if you get more into it....then....good luck.
