just a thought but certain kinds of assembly lube tend to make the 1st oil change have a metalic look to the oil. kind of a shimmery thicker looking substance. the 1st time i saw this i was freaked. but as rage stated if they look like shavings(fingernail clippings) then you have a PROBLEM. good luck
