Re: K20 Type R Build
honestly man...if you spent x amount of dollars on the k20a...why didnt you just buy it piece by piece if you were planning on doing a frank?....you would have saved soo much money in the long run...
your getting roughly around 220hp atm right?
if so then i would just start building your kdub....because like i said if your going to do the frank then its like you wasted a **** load of money......
but if you plan on doing the frank...i know on k20a.org they sell full build bottom half of k24s for 3k shipped...with whatever compression ratio you would like......(which is what im planning on doing...)
last build i had was the my 92 vx and it had:
k20a2 head
k24block w/tsx inturnals
rbc intake manifold
type s TB
440cc injectors
golden eagle fuel system
kpro
r-crew header
and intake
pushed 248whp...
costed me less then 3500...:D
but anywho i dont mean to sound harsh or anything...just make sure you use your money wisely :p (dam i sound like a father now hahahah)
just my .2 cents
