Default thermal r&D exhaust vs...?

I'm trying to find some info on 3" exhaust systems for my 89 civic hatchback. The main one I found is the thermal brand exhaust.

Is the 3" stainless steel exhaust from thermal any good as far as fitment? Does it rust quickly?

Is there any other exhaust I should look into?

You'll be hard pressed to find a better quality bolt on system for a honda than thermal.

That's tough to beat for a 3" like that for an EF. I've been dealing with Thermals for over 10 years. No, they don't rust quickly, and yes , very high quality for a bolt-on 3".

Does the thermal have an O2 bung at all? Just wondering myself.

Worth a shot. Not sure where to stick my O2 sensor, that's why I asked. 36" down from the turbo will probably be somewhere within the Thermal 'catback' system.

OP. I have been looking into piping kits and such, basically a low cost turbo back exhaust. You really can't beat Thermal R&D. It is only 2.75" ID and 3" OD, but most exhausts are like that. For $575 shipping through a HT deal, it's tough to come close. SS pipe kits run $200+ easy, factor in a straight through muffler, hangers, cost of welding/self install/labor (however you get it on the car), and you end up getting really close. I'm hoping a piece of 3" flex pipe welded to the provided flange, plus a Vband on the other side will mate up to my downpipe. My only issue is finding a wideband mounting point at the current moment, which will be easily solved when the system does in fact get here and I test fit it all.
