Input needed on NA F22B2 build
I've searched around the forums extensively and learned a lot of useful information. I'm just looking for some advice and input from people here as too what route I should take. Better yet, what route would you take? My budget is around $2,000, maybe a little more. Just put your self in my shoes and tell me what you would do and why.
Car:
1995 Honda Accord LX
Manual Transmission
F22B2
164,000 miles on it (blown head gasket)
Currently already have a new cylinder head. It has angle valve job, port/polish.
Goal:
I would like to have 250+ WHP. Keep in mind that I want a reliable setup, but reasonable. I'm not talking like reliable like, it's going to go for 100,000 miles or something. Just last for a couple of years at least.
Considering:
I was initially going to do a NA build on the F22B2 motor (parts picked out/listed below). I've also considered going the boost route, but it's get's quite a bit pricey going that route. Specially when I want to replace the internals with forged pistons and just solid performance parts. I don't want to just slap a turbo on there and blow it up like month later. Although that could be fun. The main thing I'm considering, which is the reason for this thread. I was REALLY considering just getting a JDM H22A and swapping it in. I found the motor with transmission for $1475 shipped.
Parts for NA build:
ACL Main Bearings & Rod Bearings $100
Bisimoto Connecting Rods $339
Bisimoto 12:1 Forged Pistons $459
Bisimoto Level 2 Camshaft $229
AEM True-Time Cam Gear $150
Bisimoto Pro Valve Springs $159
KMS Titanium Valve Retainers $120
KMS Valves, Valve Guides & Valve Seals $365
ARP Head Studs/Main Studs $150
Bisimoto Head Gasket $113
KMS High Flow Oil Pump $190
Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump $105
Bisimoto Heat Shielding Intake Gasket $48
Precision 450cc Fuel Injectors $200
Fluidampr Damper Pulley $?
Timing Chain $?
Total: $2,727
Questions:
Thank you to everyone who contributes to the forums, your time is appreciated. There's a lot of good information on these forums. Thank you to everyone that responds to my thread. Your help is appreciated.

Questions:
- Do you think I'm over doing it on the NA build for 250 WHP?
- Does anyone know anything about Tiger Japanese, any first hand experiences?
- Are there any quality alternatives to some of the parts I've listed?
- Does anyone know about the H22A swap into a '95 Accord, what all is needed?
- What route would you go if you were in my shoes and why?

No, you won't make that kind of power with your planned set up. Check further down the page for "my girlfriend's f22 build".
