Default Honda civic 2000 hatchback with ZC wasting gas

I have a Honda civic 2000 hatchback that wastes too much gas. I was wondering if there was anything recommended that I should do so it won't waste too much gas? Also this is missing a catalytic converter.

Little more Info would help. What engine is it, are you throwing any codes/check engine lights, when was the last time you did regular maintenance items such as fluid/filter change, spark plugs n wires, cleaned the Intake/TB, etc.

Engine 1.6L L4 SOHC 16V
Error code at auto zone:
Sensor 1 heater system malfunction
Sensor 1 circuit high voltage
CSF sensor no signal
I already did change spark plugs, oil change, wheel alignment and intake. The only thing I haven't done is fuel filter change.

Is the car a swap by the way? I'm assuming it is since you say ZC in a 2000 chassis.

Wait, if it was a swap wouldn't the head be from an integra? I believe that it's stock though I could be wrong.

I had change the front sensor but the problem still exist. Also I think I might need the catalytic converter manifold for the rear oxygen sensor.

Check tire pressure.

I don't know why is wasting too much gas, but for some reason people dont blame the catalytic converter. It could be the muffler because the muffler makes a rattle noise when I hit the gas. I am going to change the muffler to see what's up. Also could you possibly blame the motor? I don't know much about the ZC, but I thought it was on 89 integras.

I am believing it's a stock because I had just looked it up on Wikipedia, which tells me that is similar to the d series but more aggressive cam timing. Also would I need both o2 sensors to save gas or with just one will work. From what I'm aware of is that the car is wasting rich gas because it needs the o2 sensor, does that mean I need the catalytic converter o2 rear sensor as well. I had also recently changed the muffler to a skunk2.

2nd O2 only checks to make sure the cat is working. I'm assuming you still have the cat on it, the possible 5hp boost from removing it doesn't just doesn't make sense.

Nope, the catalytic converter on this engine goes in the front manifold (missing).

OK I think after putting the muffler things just got worst, I had just had 3/4 of gas and in just a few seconds it went half way after just using the car. I am about to give up, it could just be the motor. But I don't know why it keeps running rich fuel. Could it probably just be the ECU?

Also could it be the throttle body? Whenever I am on the freeway the car is way too loud and for some reason it keeps hesitating to stay on an avg speed. Another reason why I changed the muffler is because I thought the muffler was bad because it kept making a rattling sound but it comes out that its not the muffler's fault. Is it possible that is making that noise because it does not have a catalytic converter or the motor was causing the annoying rattling sound? I can still here the rattling sound from last time on the new muffler.
