best all motor LS set up??

Default best all motor LS set up??

b18b
b20 p8r head
crower 404 cams.
itr pistons
itr intake
itr header.

i tryed to find info. on thisset up with no luck

b18b1
ported head, crower valve train
crower 403 cams, stock cam gears
jdm p30 pistons
stock lS rods
stock LS computer
stock header
short ram intake

now i found info on this set up putting down about 160-170 HP to the wheels which is enough for me

does anyone have any info on this?? thanks

the second setup that you posted is almost the same setup that i would do.

here is my setup that i would do
b18b1
ported head, crower valvetrain
blox intake manifold or the edelbrock performer x or the skunk2 manifold
crower 404
jdm p30 piston
shot peened ls rods
arp rod bolts (so you can rev high)
arp head studs
itr header
ls computer with hondata s200
short ram intake with velocity stack

yea i like ur set up better, have u seen the first set up i posted?? i saw it on another forum but no #'s on what it makes

not sure on the first setup but i think that the b20 head has bigger valves but i'm not sure. also the itr pistons would not give you a higher compression like the p30 would.

well i think illl stick to the second set up, im not looking for monster power just something to have fun in.

Combustion chamber bore on the P8R is 84mm vs the cylinder bore of the b18b at 81mm. Not sure what issues this could cause but figured id mention it.

mainly head gasket issues due to the mismatch and turbulence from the lip caused by the mismatch in bore differences.

Detonation galore. Don't do it. P8R is great for 84mm bore. Use the LS head for &lt;84mm bore.
