no diff then the h22 swap . there pretty much identical

there will be some wirring and plugs you have to switch but other then that its ok

does the f20b motor fit in a 97 civic hatch? if so, do parts for the h22 like cams and headers fit on it?

yes they do . although mags has one with a euro R type mani on it , still havent found out if its a factory option or if somone put it on there

how would you know you are getting the "true" SiR-T with 200HP and not just a normal SiR with 180hp that has been swapped from the auto tranny for a prelude 5spd LSD tranny??

hard to tell really , the TB is one way as its a smaller version .

the best way IMO is that the stock tranny for the sir-t is a T2T4 . the odds that somone would bolt that tranny to an auto motor is few and far between sivnce the tranny is hard to come by. it also has lsd

too big the h22 has 88mm bore the f20b has a 85

Why bump an 11 year old thread with misinformation? The H22 has an 87mm bore.

this day in age a 2mm difference is no big concern...couple bucks at a machine shop and voila......no more issue!
