CNC ported head
Hello i'm running a B18C JDM engine and my setup by far is:
81x87,2 (stock block)
11.3 CR
JUN type 3 camshafts
JUN valve springs
JUN valve retainers
TODA exhaust manifold
2.75'' costum exhaust system
Skunk2 pro series manifold
Skunk2 70mm TB
Mugen Intake
Spoon Fly
Tuned S300
Is making 236hp and 148lb ft i want to get some more horses and i would like to send the head to a CNC shop (4piston or portflow), what increase should i expect from this mod?
I read some place that it should expect 0,25 hp per cilinder with 1 cfm flow increase, is this true?
What is the stock flow of a PR3 head?
Thanks in advance

Re: CNC ported head
I would say on average a good CNC head on a mild setup will give you 10-15whp. Bigger more aggressive setups will respond with more power.

Re: CNC ported head
well you have good cams, decent setup. As long as the head is done right it will make more power. Bigger isnt always better in terms of ports. Its the velocity that makes money. Ive never seen a setup in your compression range where the Jun's havent delivered.
Suprised Luke or Derek havent chimed in.
