Default B20V questions?...

I have searched and searched for info on B20V and most of what I get is ppl arguing and never seem to get a direct answer,so no I am here.
I am considering buying a B20 to do the VTEC conversion. I hear lots of bad things about the sleeves. Im aiming for 220 or more wheel HP.
11.5~12 cr with Skunk2 Pro2 cams and full Skunk2 pro series valve train in a USDM Type R head. Will this compromise my sleeves or do I need to resleeve? Also is it worth getting forged rods or will the the B20 ones hold up against 200+ hp. This is my first build and it's changed alot I just want things to go smoothly.

Stock sleeves are fine.

I'd personally run aftermarket rods, but ARP bolts on stock rods would most likely be fine.

Sleeves will be fine, the weak point are the rod bolts due to them stretching when you rev it pass 7.5k. Change those bad boys out and you should be good to go, along with vtec water pump/oil pump.

Moved the thread to what I believe is a more appropriate section.

The NA builders in this section know the engine part materials, challenges and advantages for part selection.

The other section in my opinion is more orientated towards machining processes of engine building.

i.e. How do you bore and hone FRM sleeves. etc.
