i am verry new here even though i joined in 2013. i recently bought an integ and have run into an issue right off the hop. i started a thread on it.(not sure if that was okay or not) but i do need help. its to do with having a b20b4 with a p75-3 head. i have a broken clip on the thermo switch and i do have a replacement. i have no wires that i can see or find that are supposed to go to it. can someone please point me in the right direction of where i need to be? figured the b20 forum might be the right place to ask.

Re: B20 non-vtec FAQ Guide including P8R head information
This thread was very helpful to me so I figured I would give back. So I got a high comp jdm b20b for me track/hpde integra I just got done. I've seen many times the question has been asked if you can run a b20 on a LS/p75 Ecu. My track integra is a LS integra , b20b swap, stock intake tube to oem air box with custom velocity stack inside ( I wanted to look as stock as possible, I reused the LS tbody/IM/injectors. Hytec replica header, 2.5 in test pipe, 2.5 in catback. Timing set at 16*. I knew it would run lean so I put a fuel pressure regulator and gauge on the car and bumper fuel pressure up to 50 psi, no vacuum, I think it's around 40 under vacuum. If memory serves me right stick fuel pressure was around 43psi no vacuum?? I put my wideband in today and went for a drive. I was surprised how it ran. Idles low 14's . Partial throttle driving it's 13.8-14.7. Wide open throttle it's low 13's until around 4500-5000 where it hits 13.5 very briefly and then went 12.6 from 5000-6900 redline. Not 100% ideal but I'll take it. I will prob bump up another psi or two considering engine will see road course duty only. But I just wanted to share my findings.

Hey Good afternoon, I have a 1995 honda integra with a b16a engine in it, but recently that engine got damage, so I bought a HONDA 2.0L DOHC B20B NON VTEC CRV HIGH COMPRESSION ENGINE, and install it, but the the engine keep missfiring , idling poorly, shouts off at times, and burning lean, if there is anyone out there who ever had this problem before please help me.
maybe i need a ECU, distributor, or any info you guys can help me with concerning this

Re: B20 non-vtec FAQ Guide including P8R head information
I know it’s an older thread. I have a B20z and picked up a P8r head. If I replace the pistons with 12 :1 pistons , do I need to use vtech style because of the larger valves in the head?

I'm not entirely sure what is meant by "vtec style", but basically all available aftermarket pistons have valve pockets that will work with the 33mm valves, if that's what you're asking. I'm running RS Machine "ITR" type pistons in mne.

i’m not sure if anyone’s still on this forum. i’m so confused with my b20b on the heads it states p75-4. i haven’t been able to find any information on them with the “4” as the last digit
also first cast stamp says “0/0” ( one on the left) i’m assuming that means 2000 for the year? i can’t really see if there’s a knock sensor.

P75 is the head casting type... smaller valve set with the 81mm diameter chamber. the "-4" at the end of the casting number is simply the line in which it was cast at the factory, so it matters not what this digit is. The P8R casting has a larger intake valve face diameter and the chamber diameter matches the bore size at 84mm.
I believe the "00" is the year in which the head was cast.
