i have a 04 6 speed tsx, car drive fine and no shake/vibration at 0 to 45-50. but once it reach around 50-65mph it vibrate/shake, but fade away when i get up to like 70ish mph. it shake more when im going up hill and are around that speed too. i rebalance the tires twice and problem still there. couple week ago i notice that one of my rear tires is slightly bend. replace it and thought that was the problem but the vibration is still there.. what could it be? anyone know? appreciate the help. thx

When you say it is the axles, do you mean the CV joints? My car has a vibration starting at 30 mph but only while under acceleration. I replaced a slightly bent wheel and had all wheels and tires rebalanced to no avail. I have a 2005 6spd w/ 81,000 miles.

re: vibration
Mine turned out to be a bad axle. The splines on the transmission end were worn and had too much play according to the Acura dealership.
($1,080 with a coupon for 10% off, Yikes!)
The car is so smooth now. I think it has been getting progressively worse for a long time. I thought it was a slightly out of balance wheel for a long time.

heard of exactly same problem with one EU Accord/TSX 2007 diesel here in Croatia, the guy replaced rims/tires (he put winter tires on steel rims) and shaking was still there now he sent his car for second time to authorized Honda importer cuz authorized mechanic said he didn't felt anything and returned car labeled as no malfunctions found

That's crazy, My wife's car has a problem with vibration, it's been a problem since way back. It's actually mostly felt in the steering wheel. but we've reported it like 3 times to the dealer, they either say it's normal, or they don't feel it. it vibrates like from 50 on up, we've gotten alignment, balance. it sucks. If it's an old problem, they should have to cover it right?
maybe i can tell them to check the cv joints. or do these symptoms lead to other possible culprits.
sounds kinda common huh?
