The most comfortable coil over setup is?
Ok, so ... just like the title states. I'm looking to lower my TSX that I just picked up and I'm wondering what is the most comfortable, as stock as possible, coil over setup.
I really like how comfortable the car is but can't stand a stock height car. So, of course, like alot of you - rims and suspension is a must.
Different cars feel different on the same brand of spring so I'm wondering from your experience, what is best?

I have H&R coilovers on my tsx and rides identical to stock with the addition of height control. In the past I have used function form type 1 coilovers on my accord and they were a tad stiffer than stock. I had the Ksport kontrol pros on my S2K and they were set on the stiffest setting and felt a tad stiffer than stock as well.
The only thing i can vouch for on our cars is the H&R coilovers. google and youtube are going to best friends on this matter.
Hope that helps a little

Ah, thank you fellas - Yeah, I've searched and googled but I'd prefer to hear first hand from people that own the cars.
I had some MEgan street coilovers on my 09 Si and they rode pretty nice (if you were in the front seat) but I know all cars will feel different. the TSX is no Si and vice versa
I've been reading good things about the BuddyClub N+ and the FF Type2

At about 1.25" lower than stock, you couldnt tell the difference when I installed Tein Basics, even maxed out in the back and even in the front is just a little more firm then stock.

Buddy Club N+'s with their pillow *** spring rates and monroe sensatrack-ish valving. The rates are 11kF and 4kR. The shocks are just there....rebound is no where near aggressive at any setting.
Its a very popular choice amongst the TSX lowrider owners due to the ability to "tuck".
They drive nice and comfy as long as they have the proper amount of travel.

They ride firmer than stock on my CD7. I almost wish mine were softer sometimes lol.

Honestly if you're are only looking for comfort. Stick with Tein as they are the best for comfort, they just don't put the chassis on the ground. Another option is to just get springs. Ride quality stays the same as stock. Just drops about 1.5". I'm running BC Sport Type BR's. best coilover by far for the Tsx. Chassis crushing, handles really aggressive and rebuildable in the states. Best set up I've had on my Tsx and I've been through 3!!! Good luck with your hunt. Any suspension upgrade is better then none.

Yeah in not going to track it or anything. Just wanna get rid of the gap and still maintain the ride quality. Looking at going 17x9 +45 after some extensive rim hunting.

Just picked up some buddy clubs myself, getting them installed next week. May not be the best choice for me since i plan on doing a bit of tracking.

Just picked up a set of the FF Type 2's after taking a spin in a TSX that had them installed. Rode like stock ... with a skinnier tire and all
