They are trying to rip you off.The coil can be bought online from an Acura dealer for 80 bucks the spark plugs maybe 40-50 bucks and the 69 bucks for removal of spark plugs is just crazy.

That is ridiculous but is what you expect from a dealer. You can do this all yourself. I got OEM Ngk plugs from Advance for like $30 with a coupon.

Those can't be dealership prices. Spark plugs for tsx is 1 hour labor so usually would be around 100 labor plus parts lol. Whatever you do, do not buy a fuel system cleaner. It's a rip off no matter how much it costs.

x2

I would let them run the diagnostic on the engine misfire code unless they already figured it out. Chasing a misfire code can be a PIA I'm currently also throwing a misfire on cylinder number 1.

If they are changing random parts to figure out the misfire, I would go some where else.

Check injectors and coil packs already?

Checked the following already:

Spark plugs
Ignition coils
Fuel injectors
Fuel injector harness
Ignition coil harness
Compression test
Vacuum leaks
Valve adjustment

As you can see I'm having a blast with this.

I'm going to check my fuel pressure next, hopefully that will tell me something.
I have Flashpro on my car but I haven't messed around with software much yet but I'm sure my problem is within the software Ect..map valve, fuel trim etc....lol

damn, I have an issue years back in my CL, where the injector was slowly dying and working 50% time, giving me a miss fire when it wasn't of course. Took me forever to run it down because most of the time when it would work and showed no signs of being the issue. Finally switched injectors around and noticed the miss fire changed Cylinders. HUR DUR moment for sure.

Yea could be something in the software. Too bad you can't just slap another ECU in there to test.

70 bucks to take out the old spark plugs? That should have been the first clue as to a rip off lol. As someone mentioned, everything on that list can be changed out by yourself. No fuel system cleaner though.

always ask for your old parts, sounds like you might be able to test and re-use some of them lol.
most of that stuff is pretty easy to do, just watch some youtube.
