Wheels on real race cars are wear items. Get the lightest thing you can, inspect them frequently, and when they crack or bend throw them in the trash.

Wow, never thought I'd come across that car on here. I know one of the guys that drove it for Spoon. I haven't talked to him in a while but as far as I know he still drives for Spoon too. Ken Kurtz if anyone happens to recognize the name. When I talked to him regularly he always tried to get me to fly out to the west coast to hang out/crew for a race weekend. I wish I took him up on it but airfare wasn't and still isn't cheap. I need to call him to say hey and see if he is actually still driving for them.
