Default Vigor Blower Motor Issue

My friend has a 92 Vigor GS, after being left in the sun, the blower motor will not start. The climate control diagnostic indicates 5 for the blower motor being at fault, but the blower motor was already replaced. Also, when this occurs, the a/c light will not turn on nor will the condenser fan spin. The relay is good, as are the fuses. Anyone have any ideas, besides replacing the blower motor again.

Resistor? Check if you have any fan speed on any of the settings. I've seen 2 of them where the front control unit goes bad. Pull out the resistor and see if it smells burnt or has any indication of it being burned.

When it works, it works on all speeds. Do you mean there is a resistor in the climate control to check?

EDIT: I looked back at it, and I assume you are referring to the blower motor resistor, I have just started learning about this problem, but I thought that the resistor would only be the culprit if the blower didn't work on all speeds.

Nope, if you dont have blower speed on one or more maybe even all the blower, resistor could be your issue.

Is there a way to test the resistor or just replace it? giving the dash a whack at this point restarts, the blower, is there a way to access the blower without pulling the dash to see if something is stuck in the cage, as it makes an odd sound when it starts.
