I have a 2000 TL, the passenger side heated seat does not work. The light comes on when you turn it on, but no heat. Is there a fuse or connection or something I could check?

Are you sure that it's not working? The reason I ask is because only the bottom portion of the passenger seat has a heating element. There is no heater in the seatback due to the sensor for the passenger's side impact airbag. If the seat bottom is not heating, the element probably has a break in it and would need to be replaced.

I work at an acura dealer and encounter this problem quite often. Depending on the mileage of your car or if you have an acura care warranty, the dealer will replace it. If you dont have any type of warranty, it cost a nice penny. It is a very common problem so if you bitch enough they might replace with however many miles you have. The problem is the actual seat heater gets breaks in it.

Did you have a passenger sitting there while you were checking to see if it was working? It also has a weight sensor in it, and the heating element will not activate unless there's someone sitting there.

My back heating element on the driver seat quit working a while back. I've been meaing to take into the dealership, but there's none here at school. I have to get the SRS light reset, have them fix the heater vent (it popped out on its own... typical Acura quality), and the seat heater.

Yep, all UA4 and UA5 models come with heated seats standard.
