Default Need '97-'99 Acura CL parts and numbers.

i just noticed that the 97-99 cl has a 3.0 liter engine that only produces 200 hp; you know what that means: untapped power. what cr does the v6 97 cl have? how much horsepower should i expect with 11:1 pistons and some slightly more agressive cams with an aftermarket header, exhaust, intake, and cat? would that get me at least 300 hp? who makes 11:1 pistons for the 97-99 cl, and who makes aftermarket cams for the 97-99 cl?

You have to get custom cams and pistons made for the 3.0 cl. With I/H/E, pullies, apexi vtec controller you could see about 250 hp to the crank. Add a 75 shot and you will have your 300 hp. This is what my brother has on his 98 cl and it is a lot of fun to drive.

Got to http://acura-cl.com for more help.

had reread that a few times to make sense of it. thought you were spouting bs by saying that 11:1 pistons, cams, ihe, and vafc would only net 250 hp; you were just stating your friends setup. thanks for the link .
