Did the water pump end up being the problem? I have the exact same problem; a significant (and very sudden) coolant leak coming from the timing cover/serpentine belt side, away from the main radiator hoses, and it's traveling and dripping down between the oil pan and exhaust pipe. The only other thing I've read that it could be is a faulty heater hose, since I've read they travel across the firewall on the passenger side (for my 2007 Acura TL-S). Any info would be great. Thanks!

sounds like a water pump to me. Honda recommends replacing your timing belt every 90,000 miles, and everyone will tell you to do your water pump while you are in there!

The only way coolant would leak from the driver side, is from the water pump (as far as my personal experience with my Hondas goes) Good Luck!
