Another way to know what your car,SUV or truck can town is visiting U-HAUL.COM and there you enter the info of your car and they will tell you what you can town with your vehicle. This way you will be safe/peace of mind knowing exactly what's are your limits for towing.

I have a 2005 crv and my step father tows an open motor cycle trailer with 2 harleys on it. So 750 each bike and 400 for the trailer. about 1900lbs.

I would say I would much rather have a bigger towings vehicle but we tow from NY to NC and we have never had a problem.

I have a small single axle enclosed trailer with brakes. I am not sure what it weighs but I carry my bands PA with it and was considering using my wifes 04 CRV to tow it vs my M1008(killing me in fuel). Any specific tranny cooler to use ?

This. I've worked at Uhaul for a few years. There's a hook-up tow validator, it's got all the info everyone keeps throwing around in it. GVWR etc. Give it a peek.

I tow my crx on a dolly with tools in the trunk every week without any problems, total weight 6000lb, crx only 1920lb

the 310 000km b20 still holds it but i plan to put my h23 vtec into it, h2b!

I wonder if I could use a little flatbed trailer or the crv would have handling problems
