Looking to buy a 1999-2003 TL
Which year has the least defects? What year would you recomend? Should I avoid a 1999? I am assuming the TL has the same reliability of any honda?

get a 2003 if you can or if not get a 2002. Go any lower than that you will have only 0-12 months warranty versus 1-2 year waranty and 3-4 for 03 on the trans for 02 and 03 respectively (exact amt depends upon in service date) there is also a tentative settlement with Honda that will add 9 months or 9K to the warranty....
