Acura Mdx error code 1399 i want to blow this car up
82k mile 01 acura mdx. we are the original owners and i swear i want to torch this car. did the timing belt, plugs, egr tube cleaning and i still have that error code 1399 then 302;300;303;304 follows it. i find that hard to believe that all 4 cylinders are misfiring. i already replaced the battery yesterday and checked the grounds. has anyone else ever had error code 1399 which allegedly means general misfire? i checked the timing and it is dead on. the only thing else i can think off is replacing my coilpacks which i'm doing tomorrow, or ignitor or a crank angle sensor went bad. any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
sid

Have you replaced the EGR valve yet? They're known for causing problems on early MDX's. If not, try driving with the valve unplugged and see if it makes a difference. Also, I assume you removed the plate on top of the intake manifold since you said you cleaned out the EGR ports. If the metal gasket under the plate is turned around backwards/upside down it can cause this problem. How often does it take place and at what speeds? Does it misfire at idle or only while driving?
I feel you on wanting to blow the car up though!

At work I see this **** all the time. Either you need to clean out your injectors or replace them or its possible like the dude before me said that the metal gasket under that top plate for your egr ports is flipped upside down.
