'90 Legend -- which engine is in it??
Does anyone know which engine is in the '90 Legend? Is it the same as the similar year's Accord or any other car in Honda's line-up?

It's a 161hp/162lb-ft 2.7L SOHC V6, used in '88-90 Legends. This engine was also used in the '95-'97 Accord V6 sedans where it made @ 170hp.

LegenLS95: You are AWESOME. Do you know if any of the 95-97 Accord V6 performance parts are compatible with the engine in the '90 Legend? I've found that Weapon-R makes intakes that work in that model. What about any headers, cat-backs, etc? This particular '90 Legend is the sedan in an automatic.

ndustryalGSR: Sorry for being so late in getting back to you, work's been kinda hectic with it being the end of the quarter... Anyways, I don't know offhand if the parts are compatible though it's a possibility. Free space in the engine bay of G1 Legends wasn't very plentiful, though.
There are some nice cat back exhaust systems for the G1 Legend, overbore TB, the Weapon-R. I'm sure you could find some more help at Legend.org. Click the "Legend" word in my sig, or http://www.legend.org/
