It's a joke/ripoff/waste of money.... If you want a detailed explaination you will have to search around, but to make your life easier, pretend you never saw it and you will save $130

What more do you need to know other than it is a waste of money and adds no power at all?

Be better off taping a electric fan to your hood.

Them electric superchargers are worthless.

Even that thing is a ******* piece, you need like 4 50 pound batteries in your trunk and it only works for like 15 seconds every 30 min

If anyone bought one, they would be too embarrassed to say so.

The premise does make some sense, you have to admit that much. Problem is, nearly all of those fans don't seem have the capacity necessary to be very useful.

I'm sure everyone's seen the vid of the leaf blower "supercharger", though (complete with spraying nitrous on the leafblower tube!). Those kids saw some good dyno gains.

If you want, you probably can just take the fan out of your computer and get some electrical tape. Cut a hole in the intake box, and tape it over the hole, make sure to use lots of RTV sealant to make it air tight.

hey, that turbinator increased my MPG by about 1-2 mpg and had no negative affect on my engine, hehe.

It was like 5 bucks and i was bored so i got one.

Electric Superchargers = blowdryer inline motor. At high RPMs can be restricting though, so dont get it.

Mercedes is working on a "real" electric supercharger that can make some usable boost, and trust me, some ebay company is NOT mercedes.

I'd hate to see what happens to his engine when the 130$ quality decides to unload itself into the head ..

no man, its not rice, its JDM. thats the new word for it.

At Full throttle, that electric thing when turned off may actually restrict airflow causing you to LOOSE a bit of power. so like if u had a y-shaped intake pipe with 2 air filters, then maybe you could consider it.
