K20 / D17 swap?

K20 / D17 swap?
ok, this isnt happening anytime soon...I'm just asking for future reference...
I'm saving for a K20 swap into my 2004 Civic vp (dx)...I know the engine itself is pretty much a direct bolt in,....but will a K20 engine bolt to the D17 tranny? even if it does,...my thinking is the D17 tranny may not handle the K20's power or w/e....sorry if its a newb question
,....I just havent found anything on it...

actually the 2nd post was to more or less try to find my original post cause it wasnt showing up on the list or w/e....but didnt want to type "i cant fin my post so im posting this"....yeah, anyways

everything i've read points to this answer. you're better off getting a transmission that came from a k-series vehicle. i believe the DC5R's came with an LSD
