Default Helpful Videos on Engine swapping and etc

This is part 1. Just a little guide on how to remove subframe and transmission. Nothing fancy and nothing great. Just thought I would try it out. Tomorrow I'm pulling the engine and will probably make a part 2.

Finally watched. Very nice. How hard to change flywheel w/o removing engine or trans?

what?!

You can't change the flywheel without removing the transmission.

I can get the transmission out from start to finish in around 30-40 minutes. Getting the trans out isn't a big deal. Getting it back in alone thats a different story... lol

Yeah I didn't know if you could get enough gap between the two to work. I guess that doesn't make sense though. Is it, remove the subframe then drop the tranny and then do the work? Is that about right minus the axles and little things?

yup pretty much. Just drop the subframe. Then pull the trans. And a lot of little misc things in between. But I've done it sooo many times I think I could seriously do it in my sleep.... takes about 30mins start to finish to get the tranny out. (for me)
