Great low-mid end power, none at high...
Hey there guys, I've got the chance to drive RSX Auto for fun last week. I notice that when I was at around 3000-4000 ish, I felt great torque and was happy. Then I stepped it up another notch revving up till 6200 ish and felt no power at all. And no point of revving that high to produce all the power. I heard the engine sucking in air (SRI) but I felt no power at all... Is this normal?
I mean don't get me wrong, low-mid end torque is great for daily driving, just wondering...

yeah its true but your also driving a base auto, and they don't really get up and move all that much anyways, now if you were to test drive a Type-s, i think you would have the power your looking for that is non existing in the base auto.

All righty. Yes I know base sucks with their Econ VTEC and also I drive an auto. But before I was getting at least some power at higher RPM. O wells....

That motor should still pull to redline. Maybe there is something else wrong...try checking the obvious first (plugs, filter, etc)

First time I've heard someone say a Honda engine is making enough torque but not enough HP.
Are you saying it's not making more at 6k than 4k or it's not making any?
