Default 2004 Acura RSX misfire Cylinder 1, tried everything...?

I have a 2004 Acura RSX type S, I keep getting the check engine light for Cylinder 1 Misfire, and sometimes it shows up as Cylinder 1 misfire, Cylinder 3 misfire, and random misfire.

I've changed all spark plugs, coil packs, and injectors. Idk what else it can be. The previous owner said something about a bad emissions control box, what is that, where is it located, and where can I get a new one and for how much?

It supposedly controls the fuel air mixture, so its understandable how its affecting my misfirings, the only problem is i mostly mess around with honda's from the 90's before they made emission boxes. anybody have any info on this emission's control box or whatever the correct name for it is?

Its supposed to be located on the firewall, passenger's side

i had that problem once. the reason was that the valves were bent.

I have no idea what you're talking about here. The only type of emissions box we have is mostly a charcoal filter as part of the EVAP system.

Is the timing correct? Has this motor ever had the timing chain replaced?

I'm not sure if a bent valve is the answer, but if you conduct a leak-down test you'll know whether or not that's the problem.

I suspect this is more of a problem with the cam angle position sensor, but I may be wrong...

Good luck man.

What are these guys talking about, I really confused here. You have a misfire on cylinder one, I have the same issue right now. I have changed injectors, coil packs and spark plugs. The problem is coming from the engine harness. I check the voltage reading for cylinder one and its super weak. I also added more engine grounds to make sure. the ecu (hondata) has given all the correct responses. nothing on that end. I ordered a new engine harness off ebay and will be here this Friday. Ill let you know how it all works out.
