Default Does anyone have the service pro. for timing chain??? help

OK so im sure im gonna sound noobie here but be nice

i bought a 04 ep3 the chain tensioner was bad on it and it was throwing a p0341 code

took valve cover off and saw that the intake cam had jumped a tooth or two

soo proceeded to remove crank pulley timing cover and exposed the chain

now what i was told was on the cams to make sure the dots are pointing up and that would make the two slash marks point to each other

then line the key slot on the crank to the triangle looking cast mark on the block bolt the new tensioner pull pin and boom we r money

but not the case when spinning the assembly with a ratchet on the crank every one in awhile i get a click in the chain now the chain is not jumping teeth ust making a noise

then the two black links on the chain were also put on the two dots and it looks like the slash marks dont line up perfectly when you put the two black marks there ughhhhh
