Does the CEL work? Did you connect a code reader to the DLC to check for codes?

Did you take a look at the harness/ecu? Is this a stock/factory vehicle or modified/swapped?

Give it a try. Could be a fuel injection issue. If not, compression test the cylinders.

By the way, fuel injectors are electrical not just mechanical, though I don't know why you would be entirely focused on electrical at this point.

Second hand information can be unreliable.

Compression test the cylinders.

understand, but he looks more capable than I am. will ask him to compression test. anything else.
the symptom though is that it just shut off instantly

It's critical to start with the basics:

CEL codes
Spark
Fuel delivery
Compression
Mechanical timing

If he's competent, he'll figure out a no-start problem lickety-split. If not, get concerned.

It's your timing. pull the timing belt covers and check. More than likely it's off a tooth or two. So check your tensioner while you're at it.

Yes. he trying to rule out immobilizer or ecu. he said it requires the more expensive diagnosis machine to test the ecu which he doesn't have.

I'd be suspicious about this mechanic. What he's charging you for this diagnosis?

Based on the list of things that check out fine, I don't see how the ECU could be the problem. Did he check the mechanical timing?

No he's not. He's just trying to rule it out. He said then he can check the wiring. I'll bring it up with him. btw problem started with the crankshaft seal. I was getting it replaced due to oil leak. I was watching what he was doing and all he did was remove the Serpentine belt and crankshaft bolt. I did replace the crankshaft sensor thinking it was that.
