tach hookup point?

how do I hook up a portable tach to use for engine troubleshooting? is there a connector in the engine bay somewhere?

check on the drivers's side fender near the firewall there might bea blue wire with a grey connector ? there which is the Tach diag on the civic model, would assume it's the same for the TEG...
