No problem as long as you clean everything. Besides...most of these will be evaporating anyway. If you're concerned about something flammable there then you have a bigger problem (leakage).

ok i've never had a spark plug snap in half on me, so i'm just curious of what the process is in getting the rest out?
is removing the whole head the only way out of it?

both...let oil sit overnight then picked up some PB today, drowned it and let that sit for a couple hours...
It sucks even more because it was coming out slowly but surely, but it wouldnt let me turn it smoothly, it was just popping and jerking as I pulled. then the collar on the plug snapped.

Just did a spark plug change on my beater (1987 chevy with original plugs). I soaked the plugs with PB for about 20 minutes and then tried to loosen them a little (just put some pressure so the PB would soak down a little more). Waited about 10 more minutes and then removed them carefully, gradually applying pressure, w/o any problems. No warming the engine or anything - worked liek a champ.
