IS IT SAFE TO NITROUS ON A B18C5
im going a 80 shot direct port on my stock block(b18c5)
will it be safe......
or 
what will i need to be safe........HELP

Ive done it, it worked great when done right and conservative. Then I got greedy with a 125shot, too much timing and burned up some valves. Make sure its a wet setup, turn the timing back, and run colder plugs.

i had a 75shot on my jdm r for a long time, its safe as long as u got good timing and plugs and a fuel pump, ur motor is only 10.6:1 compression thats good, so an 80 shot is gonna be safe, i was running 12degrees of timing and 45psi of fuel at idle. nitrous is safe if its used right.

It can be done, especially a light hit in a car with strict maintenance and proper tuning.
There's always the possibility of going kaboom, but I've also seen 80K mile C5's with over 100 bottles and 200+ drag passes on them, that ran as if they were never sprayed in their life.
Bottom line is, that even if you address all the preventative issues with a nitrous set up, a little bit of luck never hurts.
